Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

_{Hi all!

Thought I'd write a brief thing of what I did in Japan etc...
I will upload photo's later, I have work in a bit ^_^'

So it started out on the 12th of July at 5:55am XD I got my coach from Birmingham at 7:30 and arrived at London Heathrow airport at 10:15... like 3 hours early but atleast I was there I got checked in and I can't remember what I did after that tbh XD I boarded my flight and I had a crappy seat. I payed £806.03 for my flights >_> I was stuck in the middle and I have a weak bladder so I kept having to go pee and say "SUMIMASEN! GOMEN NEEEEEE~! But the girl sat next to me was really nice! We accutly started talking, half English, half Japanese and then the lady next to me started to talk too! At the airport me and my new friend helped each other with luggage, border stuff (though she got through quicker because she was native in Japan) and then a guard was asking her "are you two friends? that's nice!" XD
We got each others facebooks and I went to declare good or whatever... I got searched :/ for a POKEMON VIDEO GAME XDDD. Ahwell was funny. I wrapped it in a rainbow coloured beach towel <3

Yeh, anyway after a 2 1/2 hour journey to Kamakura from the airport, which I was smushed and feeling dead but still enjoying the Japanese views from the train! I heard a go "NATALIEEEE" and I WAS LIKE ! 8D it was very hot so as soon as we hugged we went to Baskin Robbins and got icecream!
Now, there was me, , , and Ward!
Our Kamakura hotel was NIIIICE! Right next to the pacific ocean! and posh and traditional! :3 we had a 5 course meal.... I TRIED the food I really did, but I didn't like 99% of it >_< I felt SO bad because I wanted to like the food.
Plus I kept being told to try and eat more, even vegetables and stuff, but when I have NEVER liked them and I try them, my stomache likes to be sick :/

Anyway, the following day we went on a Shinkansen that cost alot of money but was okay and went to our hotel in Osaka. It was so nice ^_^ and the area was great, close to the trains and next to a family mart, traditional japanese street restuarants, a massive swimming baths and onsen and a gambling thing XD
During the 6 days we went to the POKEMON CENTRE OMG WAS AMAZING! I accutly shed a tear from amazingness! XD and the others went for a photoshoot so myself and Ward went back to the Pokemon Centre and there were NEW items! (because of the new movie release) :3
We did a few things, mainly shopping and looking around stores and the streets
I got sick. Like, being up all night, my throat in so much pain and like swelling up where I could hardly breathe, eat or drink. If you haven't had that then don't try to think of the pain and how annoying it was, because it was.
I was in pain, every moment for 3 days and it just kept getting worse. I was dehydrated, sleep deprived, losing weight and felt horrible, BUT I wanted to see Japan so I did! Medicine helped and it went in the last few days! YAY.

I am really sad I didn't get to go to Kyoto, we were going to go for a day and see the Gion Festival... but we didn't. I'll do it next year or something.
That's the one main thing I regret not doing. But what I did see of Japan was great ^_^

I went back to Narita on my own and the others helped me to get to the Shinkansen I needed (they were going to Kyoto for the next week). I waited an hour for the train >_<' and then it was comfy from there!
ALSO

MEN TOOK MY PHOTO.... XD
I know I stand out in Japan and it's because I'm obviously foreign but I think I look like a complete goof and ... well ugly XD but it was funny!
They were in a few seats in front of me and had 6 seats, one had a camera above his head, totally not in view of his own face and another man was like peaking through the the camera XD
If they had asked me for my photo I dunno what I would of said but it was certainaly funny.

I got lost at Tokyo station because I got stuck with what tickets I needed but I bought some cute Rilakkuma stuff! At the airport I helped a girl and her Mum with the coaches and stuff, she hardly new English but I seemed to communicate well, especially at our hotel she couldn't understand the English of the receptionist so I tried to help, it worked 8D yay! I think me being a teacher would accutly work, if I can communicate and help people! 8D
Hotel was nice! I had my first bath in ages because I didn't want to go to any onsens ^_^' I'm very body conscious. At breakfast, I was the only girl, plus foreigner and a couple of people asked where I was from, I like it when people are intrigued because I like that feeling, too! In the lift I met a guy of a company that makes soup in London! 8D Now I have to go to London and try it!
My flight back was more comfy, the plane was empty and so I got two seats, plus I asked for an aisle so I could to go the toilet. I had school peoples too! I think it was from Elementary to High school! And when we were landing into London, the expression on their faces and great! ^_^ they were all so happy!
I was, too, going home and all, but also sad about not being in Japan anymore.
I got off my flight at 4:20pm, didn't get home until 10:30pm because of a 2 hour delay of my coach >_> but ahwell. I am home now, missing Japan but also now I can sort out University and stuff!
