It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Uni, Kitacon, Cosplay... and clubbing?!

My first year of Uni is almost over! :icondurrdurrplz:
It's has literally flown by! OwO
I have learnt a lot from the course but I feel I need to take even more of it in if the next 2 years are gonna go as fast!

Cosplay; I seem to not be making as much, I know it's because of Uni so hopefully I'll make some more :)
Flareon went byeebyee because I made it, only for it to scrunch up and not fit me :| NEVER WORKING WITH SHINY COTTON AGAIN! BOO YOU SHINY COTTON! :iconimsadplz:
Even though I'm not cosplaying as much I'm still having photoshoots, lol!
I want to feel all pretty and nice >////< so photoshoots with friends and my Sister should be fun!  ^_^ I get so nervous infront of the camera because I don't want to make a fugly photo, I want it to look nice =////=;
Still fun shall be had! :D

SO, next convention is Kitacon!  I have one costume, and that's Saria from LoZ: OoT. I want to cosplay someone else but have no idea on who XD

I went to my first club last Friday! :O!
I never liked the idea of clubbing... all those people... all the drunk people... those late nights... but I'm one to never bad mouth something without trying it out, so I did. Especially as it was @iconbellaends: 19th Birthday and I promised her ^_^ It was more fun, too as we went in costume! Superhero's and Supervillains! Oooo yarp! x3
I drank and got tipsy, found out I didn't like being tipsy so I know now how much to drink ^_^;;; I like some alcoholic drinks but I prefer not to get drunk :)))

Has it been a good year for you at the uni? It´s sounds so:P

Clubs could be really fun if you have someone to hang out with and don´t leave you. Did everyone ware costumes?

Yeh, I don't think I have enough time to make a Sheik costume >_<;

It has actually! :D I've met a lot of nice people! I wanted to become more confident whilst being at University and I don't think I have but I have another 2 years still ^_^

Yeh :) my friend and her friends looked after me. One danced and held my hand too so I wouldn't get lost :3 it was fun! Noone got left behind and everyone was involved. Yeh 8D
